Rick Koring Memorial Golf Tournament

About Rick Koring

Rick began working at Sundance in 1977, when he was 17 years old. Through years of hard work and study Rick eventually became our golf course superintendent in 1985 until he unexpectedly passed away on February 9th, 2008. Since that time we have kept Rick's memory with us through our annual golf event that raises funds for Alzheimer's in his name - as his mother was diagnosed with Alzheimer's in 2010.

In addition, other donations have made it possible to place a water fountain within the north pond on the first hole at Sundance in memory of Rick - this was always something Rick talked about and hoped to have as a course feature.
